A Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Attend a Meeting

Kick off your journey by attending one of our bi-monthly club meetings. This is the perfect opportunity to get a firsthand look at our club's activities, meet current members, and interact with our officers. Attending a meeting is also a great way to meet a potential membership sponsor and be invited to become a member. Feel free to ask questions and experience the community impact we make.

Step 2: Express Your Interest

If you feel inspired to join us, please let our membership chair or any club officer know at the meeting. Note that membership in the Lions Club is by invitation only, but don't worry—we're here to guide you through the process!
We will be sure to provide you with a membership form and help with any questions.

Step 3: Submit Your Application

Complete our club's membership form and submit it. Our club’s board of directors and membership committee will review and vote on your application. This process ensures all members share our commitment to community service.

Step 4: Formal Induction

Once your application is approved, you will receive a notice from our club secretary and then, in the coming months, be formally inducted into the Dallas Founder Lions Club. This marks your official welcome into our family and the beginning of your journey to making an impact.

Membership Fees

• Initiation Fee: A one-time fee of $35.
• Monthly Dues: $12 per month, covering international, district, and club dues, billed semi-annually. This is prorated based on the month you have joined.
• Student Rate: $40 per year, making it affordable for members under 30 who are enrolled in educational institutions.
• Family Membership: A Lions member paying full dues can include up to four family members living in the same household at a 50% discount on international dues.

Contribution to Lions Foundation (optional)

• We encourage contributions to the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF). These contributions are optional. Your donations will directly support our humanitarian efforts, with 100% of funds going towards impactful grants and programs.
• You can choose between the Empowering Service Fund, which supports a range of global initiatives, and the Disaster Relief Fund, which provides targeted aid in crises.
• Contribute with a one-time gift starting at $20, or opt for monthly donations from $10.
• Contributions advance your progress towards becoming a Melvin Jones Fellow, an honor recognizing cumulative donations of $1,000, celebrating your commitment to humanitarian service.
