  • Holiday party to service project: 300 baby kits for families in need

We skipped the traditional holiday party this year to roll up our sleeves. Instead of a dinner, we turned our meeting at Dallas College at El Centro into a full-speed assembly line for our annual holiday service project. Our mission was to support Hope Supply Co. by creating baby hygiene kits for parents in need. By the time the meeting wrapped up, we had turned $2,500 in supplies into 300 essential kits for newborns and their families. It took three car loads to transport the inventory and deliver the finished product, but every heavy lift was worth it. For us, the best way to celebrate the season was through a project that puts the "We Serve" motto into direct action for Dallas families and their babies.
