Dallas Founder Lions Club was pleased to welcome Willie Baronet for a thoughtful program centered on We Are All Homeless, the long-running project he founded. Built around more than 2,200 signs purchased from people experiencing homelessness, the project invites reflection on
dignity, visibility, and our shared humanity.

Before the meeting, club members assembled 100 snack packs for clients of The Stewpot, continuing the club's hands-on commitment to community service. The project supported neighbors in Dallas who are experiencing hunger and homelessness.

  • Holiday party to service project: 300 baby kits for families in need

We skipped the traditional holiday party this year to roll up our sleeves. Instead of a dinner, we turned our meeting at Dallas College at El Centro into a full-speed assembly line for our annual holiday service project. Our mission was to support Hope Supply Co. by creating baby hygiene kits for parents in need. By the time the meeting wrapped up, we had turned $2,500 in supplies into 300 essential kits for newborns and their families. It took three car loads to transport the inventory and deliver the finished product, but every heavy lift was worth it. For us, the best way to celebrate the season was through a project that puts the "We Serve" motto into direct action for Dallas families and their babies.

  • Beers with Santa

A Festive Fundraiser for Great Causes

Beers with Santa brought the community together at Four Bullets Brewery for great beer, hearty snacks, and a chance to hang out with Santa and snap photos. The event paired holiday fun with purpose and was a successful fundraiser supporting the Dallas Founder Lions Club Foundation’s vision and community service work, including free eye screenings and eyeglasses for those in need and support for programs like Leader Dogs for the Blind and Texas Lions Camp residential summer camp for children with physical disabilities, type 1 diabetes and cancer.
