Dallas Founder Lions Club recently hosted Bob Hopkins, author, educator, and philanthropy champion, for a program on The Power of Philanthropy.

Paul Coggins, Author of Chasing the Chameleon and Former U.S. Attorney
Our club welcomed Paul Coggins as a guest speaker for the Friday, May 1, meeting. A former U.S. Attorney and one of the city’s most respected legal voices, Coggins brings a distinguished career in law, public service, and writing. He spoke about his latest book, Chasing the Chameleon.

Our club was honored to host State Representative Cass Hernandez for an informative presentation on legislative priorities.

300 baby kits for families in need
Dallas Founder Lions members assembled 300 baby hygiene kits for Hope Supply Co. using $2,500 in supplies. The kits supported Dallas families with newborns and put our motto, We Serve, into action.

Dallas Founder Lions Mark 109 Years with Service Project for Homeless Children
The Dallas Founder Lions Club celebrated its 109th year with a special meeting that combined service and learning. President Jeff Strater and 3rd VP Colleen Martin presented 200 “Bye Bye Bags” to Chelsea Zeno of Vogel Alcove as members joined in packing snack bags for homeless children.

We warmly invite you to our regular meetings on the 1st and 3rd Fridays at 11:45 AM we gather for networking and our program starts at noon.
Our meeting starts with a meet-and-greet, followed by a hello and welcome; then, our club Tail Twister ensures fun with jokes, followed by club updates and a guest speaker program.
