Dallas Founder Lions Club members joined Lions District 2-X1 in supporting the DAWN (Diabetes Awareness and Wellness Now) event. This impactful service project focused on educating the community about diabetes, providing health screenings, and offering resources like A1C tests, vision screenings, nutrition workshops, and even free produce!
Why Diabetes?
Diabetes is one of Lions International's global causes. It affects millions worldwide, and our mission is to help prevent and manage diabetes through
awareness, education, and access to care. Events like DAWN make a real
difference in promoting wellness and supporting those at risk.
